The Sri Vommi Ramana Educational Society is launching our crucial "Grow Strong, Grow Right" Child Growth Screening Campaign" to ensure every child in our community reaches their full developmental potential. This campaign is dedicated to the early identification and intervention of potential growth-related issues—both physical and developmental—in children from infancy through adolescence.
We recognize that a child’s health and well-being are fundamental to their educational journey and future success. Our free, comprehensive screening program, led by experienced pediatric and medical volunteers, will assess key growth parameters like "height, weight, BMI, vision, hearing, and cognitive milestones". Early detection of conditions such as malnutrition, developmental delays, or chronic health issues allows for timely treatment, significantly improving health outcomes.
The campaign will host a series of free community camps and informational sessions, providing parents and caregivers with vital insights into healthy nutrition, age-appropriate development, and available support systems. We will also facilitate referrals to specialized healthcare professionals for children requiring further evaluation.
